chocolate oatmeal

Back in my "younger" days I could have chocolate for breakfast without worrying about getting "fat". Now that my metabolism has slowed down (boooo!) the thought of chocolate for breakfast seems so "bad". Well, since my morning chocolate cravings don't seem to be going away anytime soon, I've come up with an alternative solution: Chocolate Oatmeal. I mean since oatmeal is supposed to be all healthy a little chocolate to the mix shouldn't hurt right? And topping it off with some bananas definitely puts it into the "healthy breakfast" category LOL. I combined Vosges Haute Chocolat and Quaker Oats to satisfy my chocolate craving this morning. Yum, what a perfect combo!

  3. Grace, this is our poor-man's way of making champarado. =) I'll have to try it with bananas! On a side note, my ALL TIME FAVORITE candy bar is made by Vosges. (The BARCELONA BAR- deep milk chocolate with gray sea salt and roasted almonds). When you try it, blog about it and let me know how you like it! (You can find it at the Curious Grape in Shirlington).
