meal cart

The Fojol Bros. of Merlindia international food truck will be parked at Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, and U street today - Sunday. I'll be in DC this weekend, so I'm going to try and catch a veggie bite from this food truck, and let you all know if the food is any good. Or at least the entertainment ;o)

From daily candy:

The driver on the bus goes, Shh! Shh! Shh!

But the driver on the van goes, Hurry! Hurry! Curry!

Or so he will on The Fojol Bros. of Merlindia, which hits the road today. The traveling culinary adventure is operated by a costumed character dishing international treats from a psychedelic ’60s step van.

On the menu: hearty meat and vegetarian curries (chicken masala, eggplant, spinach and cheese) served over basmati rice or flavored grits; snacks (signature chips like Kipoto’s Fortune Curls and Gewpee’s Garlic Ribbons); and frozen delight Mewsh’s Mango Pop.

The company will donate proceeds from food sales to local children’s charities, so you can feel good about supporting them.
