I know it's been awhile since I last blogged. I was on a roll in the beginning of December...I was blogging everyday for two straight weeks! Then I hit vacation mode and it was lights out...Whenever I go on vacay my blogging usually takes a backseat. Even though I bring my laptop with me with the intent to blog...the fun usually takes over and all my "material" sits in my camera until I get home to upload.The past month was filled with 3 vacays that not only gave me alot of juicy pictures to post, but also added about 5 inches to my love handles and roughly 10 lbs to my jelly belly. But I'm not complaining...that's what the New Year is for right? Now that my vacation days have come to a painful halt, I figured I'd relive my days of gluttony with the world.
The week before Christmas I flew to Vegas with 4 other couples to celebrate the thirtieth birthday of one of my best. The weekend was filled with delicious drinks, never ending buffets, and lots of laughs. Here's how day 1 went down:
Paris at Midnight (a coffee + liquor concoction that helped us ease into west coast time zone)
Pomegranate Mojito Martini (multiple rounds b/c it was buy one get one free!)
Bleu Cheese wedge salad (my snack before Tao)
Walking to Tao at the Venetian
Goose + Tonic all night.
Worst shot ever...
...put me on water for the rest of the night!
