philippines day #6 - freckled crabs & bottled soda

Day 6 was spent on the road driving north to visit the rest of our family in the province. I was not looking forward to having no AC , but I sucked it up for the sake of family. Luckily we came during the weekend of the town fiesta, which meant that there was going to be alot of food and people at the house. My aunts spent the entire day prepping for the fiesta. They cooked everything from pancit to dinuguan, all of which contained some form of beef, chicken, or pork. I was mentally preparing myself for a nice fat bowl of rice and tomatoes for lunch until my aunt surprised me with a big pot of crabs! How cute, they're so small and...freckled! I must have devoured like 10 of these little guys, which tasted oh so good with my bowl of rice and tomatoes LOL.


I finished the meal with a nice cold bottle of soda. Isn't it more fun to drink soda from a bottle?
