We started off with the spicy ahi tuna tartare. My girl Rocky, who is a bomb ass personal chef, makes the best tuna tartare. Whenever I see tuna tartare on a menu, I order it expecting to taste something similar (or at least comparable) to the tuna tartare that Rocky makes. So far I haven't come across a tuna tartare dish that comes close to Rocky's, until I placed my order at Passion Fish. The combination of ginger, sesame, and ponzu is so savory and delicious that even a person who doesn't eat raw fish would enjoy it.
For dinner I ordered the whole roasted Mediterranean Branzino. It was served with Chilean olive oil and a green verde sauce (not pictured). I chose this fish because the waiter said that it was related to the Sea Bass ( I love Sea Bass). The Branzino is similar to the Sea Bass in terms of color and texture, however it's a little more fishy in flavor. I had the option for the waiter to filet the fish table side, which I declined. Had I known that the fish had so many bones I would have opted for the waiter to do the dirty work.
